A new addition to Immunoshop CPD segment, Dengue IgG/ IgM Rapid Card
Test is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative
detection of IgG and IgM antibodies to Dengue virus in human whole
blood, serum, or plasma as an aid in the diagnosis of primary and
secondary Dengue infections. It utilizes a combination of Dengue
antigen coated colored particles
Benefits and Features of Dengue IgG/IgM Rapid Test:
Test
uses fingerstick whole blood/ plasma and serum
Detects both IgG and IgM Dengue antibodies in a single card test and
thus helps in differentiation between primary and secondary dengue
and in predicting disease severity
To
serve as a procedural control, a colored line will always change
from red to blue in control line region, indicating that the proper
volume of specimen has been added and membrane wicking has occurred
Storage is at RT or refrigerated (2-30o C)
Results in 10 minutes
Sensitivity is 95.8%, specificity >99% and accuracy more than 99.3%
