Antibodies against Beta- 2 glycoprotein 1 have been found remarkably high in patients with APS syndrome ( Anti Phospholipid Syndrome). Thus ACR ( American College of Rheumatologists) recommends that any patient showing high titres of beta-2 glycoprotein 1 antibodies alongwith anti cardiolipin antibodies alongwith clinical symptoms of pregnancy morbidity, thromboembolism, Deep vein thrombosis confirm to be APS patients.
